Lekic has not been signed as a Designated Player and per MLS policy his contract details have not been released. Lekic has played in Spain and Hungary but most of his success has been at Silkeborg where he has a good scoring rate, 69 goals in 96 games. His career scoring rate is 0.51gpg (Taylor Twellman's overall career rate 0.56gpg). This is the proven goal scorer that many have been saying that the Revolution have needed to sign for a couple of years and we are happy with this signing. There have been concerns that he hasn't produced well outside of Silkeborg, however he may have not been getting much playing time or was not the top striker for those teams. There is no doubt that "Psycho Rajko" will be slotting in immediately upon his arrival s our top striker. We hope for and expect big things out of him. Lekic will join the team once his International Transfer Certificate comes through.
