It is no secret the we at TDIF enjoy beer and other fine libations. We are currently working on some tailgate/beer related posts that should be coming out in the next few days. But, for now, here is a cool event going on in Somerville in a few weeks.
The New England Real Ale Exhibition (NERAX) is a great event that takes place at the George Dilboy VFW Post in Davis Sq. (Somerville, MA). The event offers a great opportunity to sample some of the best cask conditioned ales from round New England, the rest of the US and the UK. I attended this for the first time last year and it was well worth it. Among the highlights for me was the Harpoon Summer Ale (a usual tailgate drink for us during the mid summer matches) that was made exponentially better through cask conditioning.
The event will be running March 30th through April 2nd.
Got tickets for the Friday April 1st event. Should be a good time.
